Application : Welding of 22%-Cr, 12%-Ni and 2%-Mo Stainless Steel, dissimilar metals containing molybdenum, 316 stainless clad steels, and self harden type steels which contain molybdenum and for which posheat treatment is impossible.

YAWATA 309Mo-16 is a lime-titania type stainless steel electrode 22%Cr-12%Ni-2%Mo deposited metal shows excellent crack resistance especially in the welding of dissimilar metals such as stainless steel to mild steel.

1. Use dry electrodes only. Damp electrodes should be re-dried at 200~250 ℃ for 60 minutes before use.
2. Dirt such as oil, grease and dust should be completely removed from groove.
3. Excessively wide weaving may cause welding defects. Keep weaving width to less than 2.5 times electrode diameter.
